Our nation’s veterans gave everything they could, and would have given more if called upon and yet we fail to care for them to the same extent that they cared for our Constitution and nation. It is unacceptable that veteran’s go hungry, go homeless, go broke in communities that owe everything to them.
I will support any increase to the VA, increase funds for affordable housing for veterans, and improved access to mental health resources to curb the veteran suicide rate.
