Defending the independence of Ukraine is a priority to maintain long-term security of American interests in Europe. As a member of Congress I will support sending more weapons to Ukraine on a lend-lease to ensure that American tax payers are rewarded for their commitment to defending democracy abroad.
As an American I am fearful that Russia has infiltrated our politics, and that some high ranking officials in our government may be Russian assets. It will be important to ensure transparency, accountability, and to have access to all communications made between American leaders and their Russian counter-parts.
