Why do working American’s pay more in taxes proportionally than the ultra wealthy? Than corporations? Why can the wealthy play the system, exploit loopholes, and avoid taxes? Why are we okay with allowing them to exploit our communities for our tax payer funded roads, bridges, and public services; but not expect them to pay their fair share of the cost to maintain them? I will fight to raise the top marginal tax rate to 50%, and to reduce the tax burden on working families.
