Our federal government has a responsibility to maintain our natural beauty through conservation efforts and funding of national and state parks. The 9th district is among the most beautiful natural landscapes on the east coast, and is in a reasonable drive from several major metropolitan areas. I will work closely with local leaders to find grants for the development of our state and local parks, and to help build a robust eco-tourism industry for stargazers, bird watchers, outdoorsmen, and more.
That all starts with ensuring that federal regulations protect the natural beauty of our area from pollution, over hunting, and excessive development.
